What if I can’t find my favorite menu item on the website?
We’re so happy to hear that you fell in love with something on our menu. While we tend to keep our favorites on the menu for good, some good things can come to an end. Either due to the item being a limited-time offering, or due to supply chain issues happening worldwide, we may no longer offer that item. Don’t worry! You can be the first to know our menu updates by signing up for our e-club.

Can I apply if I don’t have a resume?
You can always view our Careers page to submit an application, or visit your local Summerbird location to apply in person.
Do I need experience to work at Summerbird?
Entry-level positions only require the right attitude, availability and motivation. You can also include school or volunteering as past experience. Experienced cooks and cashier applicants may add their work history to the application. We recommend manager applications include a formal resume with all relevant work history information.

Does Summerbird offer Job Training?
Cashiers and cooks have a designated trainer for their first few shifts before entering our ongoing training program provided to all team members. Managers enter an 8 week management training with assigned trainers throughout the program. First focusing on “back of the house,” then “front of the house” and a final week of transition in your assigned restaurant.
What happens after I submit an application?
Our goal is to have your application reviewed within 48 hours. Based on your qualifications and availability, we will contact you if we decide to move forward in the hiring process. If you have any further questions you are always welcome to speak with a member of our management team in person at the Summerbird location at which you applied.

What are the hours like?
Hours may vary by location, however team members may arrive up to 2 hours early to prepare opening duties and stay about 1.5 hours to complete the closing tasks.
